Why we moved past WordPress
Plugins, updates, and a site you don't really own
WordPress starts simple and gets fragile fast — a stack of plugins, constant updates, and security holes you have to babysit. We stopped building on it for client work and went all-in on lean custom sites instead. The result is faster pages, nothing to patch every week, and a codebase that's yours. Meet the Velocity X framework.
Migrate off WordPress
From a PageSpeed 30 to a 90+
Stuck on a sluggish or hacked WordPress site? We migrate you off it — bringing your content and rankings across, mapping redirects so nothing drops, and rebuilding the front end for speed. Most migrations land a 90+ PageSpeed score where there was a 30, with no plugins left to break.
Built to rank, not post
SEO done at the code level
A custom build lets us wire in clean schema, fast Core Web Vitals and a sensible content structure from the ground up — so Google can read and rank your pages without a plugin doing half the job. Pair it with ongoing SEO optimisation for compounding traffic.
Honest platform advice
We'll tell you straight if you should stay put
If you run a simple blog and WordPress is genuinely serving you, we'll say so — no hard sell. But if you need a booking system, staff dashboard or job routing, a custom build is faster and cheaper to run long-term. That's our buy-once Velocity X.
